about
A small studio for the people who ship.
Syrakon is a one-person operation, soon a few. We make tools we'd want to use ourselves — small, sharp, and honest about their boundaries.
We don't believe in lock-in, in usage-cliffs that punish growth, or in support tickets that take a week to bounce around an outsourced queue. The CLIs we ship are open source. The cloud that runs them is paid, EU-hosted, and answers in hours.
The roadmap is public, the changelog is honest, and the person on the other end of hello@syrakon.com is the one writing the code.
What we believe
- Tools should fit in your hands.
- A CLI you can learn in an afternoon beats a platform that needs a quarterly training. Composability over completeness.
- Honest about closed source.
- Most products are closed source. Two (Atalaya, Kompass) ship under BSL and convert to Apache 2.0 after 8 years. No 'open core' theatre — you know what you read and what you pay for.
- Pricing is a contract.
- Flat per-seat. No metered surprises. EU VAT handled. Annual is a discount, not a lock.
- Scope is a tax.
- Every product does one thing. If we ever ask you to "leverage our integrated platform," sue us.
